I walk around the city to check out the Bangkok nightlife 2020 with no tourists in Thailand: bars and Thai massage shops are closing at a rapid pace; there seem to be few customers even on a weekend.
In Sukhumvit road, mostly in front of Thermae coffee shop, there are more freelancers than in Soi 4 outside Nana Plaza nowadays.
Overall I think the Pattaya nightlife is better at the moment.
